FDNY Responds To Fire On Rooftop Of Bed-Stuy Synagogue
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT – Firefighters battled a blaze Tuesday morning that started on the rooftop of a two-story synagogue in Bed-Stuy, according to the FDNY.
At approximately 9:10am, twenty-five units and 106 firefighters arrived to the scene at 45 Patchen Avenue between Greene and Lexington Avenues, a FDNY representative says. No injuries have been reported.
As of 11:30am, firefighters were still on the scene, the representative says. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
