Family Visiting? Bond Over Cider and Beer Tastings at The Ploughman

Tomorrow is the final Gridlock Alert Day of the holiday season, which means a lot of people are travelling out of and into the city – and that many of those people, after all that traffic, could probably use a drink.

If you’ve got friends and relatives coming into town this weekend, The Ploughman (438 7th Ave) has some ways to help:

• Spanish ciders tasting on Friday, December 21, 5-8pm

• Bear Republic & Speakeasy beers tasting on Saturday, December 22, 4-7pm

Of course, you can then buy a few bottles to take home – and some cheese to go along with it – which will quickly make the terrible traffic a distant memory.
