Faith-Based and Community Organizations Funding Forum

If you work with a faith-based or community organization, 42nd Assembly District Leader Rodneyse Bichotte is hosting a funding forum that could help you learn how to access potential city, state, and federal funding.

The forum will cover how to uncover potential government funding through grant writing, as well as strategies for long-term program growth and development:

We will share insights on how to access funding for your organization, initiate the application process, conduct necessary walk-throughs, and conduct a grant writing workshop aimed at teaching the basics of proposals.

The guest speaker is Councilmember Domenic M. Recchia, Jr., chairman of the City Council’s Finance Committee. Malorie Moise, a grant writing consultant, will cover grant proposal basics.

The forum is on Thursday, March 7 from 10am to 1pm at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 305 East 21st Street at Albemarle Road.
