Fabulous Neighbors: Deanna Zandt

Fabulous Neighbors: Deanna Zandt

Last week a neighbor was celebrated for a good deed. Deanna Zandt was awarded the first ever social media Maggie award from Planned Parenthood for her tumbler Planned Parenthood Saved Me during the Susan G Komen Foundation controversy. Congratulations!

Deanna is a social media maven, an author, a speaker and contributor to places like Forbes.com (her blog is called Prospect: Tech) on the intersection of technology, social change and women. You can also listen to her doling out advice on NPR’s “All Things Considered,”  with Baratunde Thurston, about stuff like tech at the dinner table, and whether or not you should have more than one Twitter account.

And she is a proud Kensingtonian.
