Finally, some good news from the MTA.
As of early this morning, Coney Island-bound F service is finally restored at Avenue I, Bay Pkwy, Avenue N, and Avenue P.
After months of waiting, subway riders can finally get to Bensonhurst, Mapleton, and Midwood stops at the crawling pace of the F train.
But it’s not all good news.
Gravesend riders still have to wait another week — F trains will continue to skip Avenue U and Avenue X until May 8, for station improvements, said the MTA.
How to survive until May 8:
- To Avenues U and X, take the Coney Island-bound F to Neptune Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.
- From Avenues U and X, take a Jamaica-bound F to Kings Hwy and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.
