The F Slows & Skips, Plus More Sheepshead Bay Subway Changes

Below you’ll find early week Sheepshead Bay subway changes on the B, Q, and F lines in Brooklyn. Check back later this week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

F Line

F trains run every 20 minutes between Avenue X and Stillwell Av
Days, 11am-3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays through May 8

F service operates in two sections:
1. Between 179 St and Avenue X
2. Between Avenue X and Stillwell Av

F trains from Manhattan skip Avenue U
Days, 10:45am-3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays through May 8

For service to this station, take the F to Avenue X where it will become a Jamaica-bound F. For service from this station, take the F to Kings Hwy and transfer to an Avenue X-bound F.

From Avenue U, you may also take the B3 bus to the Avenue U station where Coney Island-bound Q service is available.

Q Line

Coney Island-bound Q trains run via the R from Canal St to DeKalb Av
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am, Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1

Trains stop at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Sts and Jay St-MetroTech. Please allow additional travel time.
