F Goes Express, No G Train & More Weekend Subway Service Changes
If you’re looking to hop on the subway this weekend, definitely note the changes along the F and G lines, which could put a dent in your plans. That and more to watch out for along local lines this weekend, from the MTA:
4 service is extended to New Lots Av
Weekend, Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30
4 trains replace the 3 in Brooklyn between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and New Lots Av, making local stops.
Jamaica-bound F trains run express from Church Av to Jay St-MetroTech
Weekend, 11:45pm Friday, March 28 to 5am Monday, March 31
No Jamaica-bound service at Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 15 St-Prospect Park, 4 Av-9 St, Smith-9 Sts, Carroll, and Bergen Sts. For service to these stations, take the F to 7 Av or Jay St MetroTech and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F. For service from these stations, take the F to 7 Av or Church Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.
No G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Church Av
Service operates every 20 minutes between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts
Weekend, 11:30pm Friday, March 28 to 5am Monday, March 31
No G service at Bergen, Carroll, Smith-9 Sts, 4 Av-9 St, 7 Av, 15 St-Prospect Park, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy. Take the F instead. Transfer between A, C, and G trains at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts. Transfer between A, C, and F trains at Jay St-MetroTech.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn

No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for more changes further down the line on the 2, 4, 5, F, and Q trains.
