An Extended Switch On The 3/4 & More Fort Greene-Clinton Hill Weekend Subway Changes

Below you’ll find weekend subway service changes for Fort Greene and Clinton Hill’s A, C, G, B, Q, D, N, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines in Brooklyn, plus the Franklin Avenue shuttle. Check back Monday to see what’s happening next week. Changes via MTA.info.

3 Line

3 train service is extended to New Lots Av
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am through Friday, February 20

3 service operates between 148 St and New Lots Av, replacing the 4 in Brooklyn.

3 service is extended to New Lots Av
Weekends, 11:45pm on Fridays to 5am on Mondays through March 2

3 service operates between 148 St and New Lots Av all weekend, replacing the 4 in Brooklyn.

4 Line

No 4 trains between Brooklyn Bridge and New Lots Av
Late nights, 11:45pm-5am through Friday, February 20

4 service operates between Woodlawn and Brooklyn Bridge, making local stops. Late night 3 service is extended to New Lots Av.

For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, take the D or Q. For Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn, take the 2, 3, or N (see chart here). For service between Borough Hall and Franklin Av, take the 2 or 3 instead. Take the 3 between Franklin and New Lots Avs.

No 4 trains between Brooklyn Bridge and New Lots Av
Weekends, 11:45pm on Fridays to 5am on Mondays through March 2

4 service operates between Woodlawn and Brooklyn Bridge, making local stops. Late night 3 service is extended to New Lots Av.

145 St-bound B trains run local from Kings Hwy to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45am-3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays through March 12; 9:45am-2pm on Fridays through March 13

C Line

168 St-bound C trains run via the F from Jay St-MetroTech to 34 St-Herald Sq, then via the D to 59 St-Columbus Circle
Weekend, Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22

No 168 St-bound C service at High, Fulton, Chambers, Canal, Spring, 14, 23, 34, 42 and 50 Sts.

For High, Fulton, Chambers, Canal 14, 34, and 42 Sts, take A the via transfer at Jay St-MetroTech or 59 St-Columbus Circle.

For service to Spring St, take C the to W 4 St and transfer to a downtown C or E. For service from this station, take the C or E to Canal St and transfer to an uptown A

For service to 23 St, take the C to the 7 Av D/E Station and transfer to a downtown E. For service from this station*, take the C or E to 14 St and transfer to an uptown A to 59 St where C service is available.

For 50 St, take the E. Transfer between trains at W 4 St or 7 Av.

For 14, 23, 34, 42 and 50 Sts, you may also use nearby F stations on 6 Av instead.

D Line

Coney Island-bound D trains skip 71 St, 79 St, 18 Av and 20 Av
Days, 9:45am-3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays through March 6

For service to these stations, take the D to Bay Pkwy and transfer to a Norwood-bound D. For service from these stations, take the D to 62 St-New Utrecht Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.

No D trains between Bay Pkwy and Stillwell Av
Weekend, 5:30am-8pm, Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22

D service operates between 205 St and Bay Pkwy. For direct service between Stillwell Av and Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, take the F or Q. There is no N service between 86 St and Stillwell Av during this time. More info here.

N Line

No trains between 86 St and Stillwell Av
Weekend, 5:30am-8pm, Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22

N service operates between Ditmars Blvd and 86 St. For direct service between Stillwell Av and Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, take the F or Q.

B1 and B4 buses stop at the 86 St N station and Avenue X F station. F trains provide connecting service between Avenue X and Stillwell Av. Transfer between trains and buses at 86 St and Avenue X.

There is no D service between Bay Pkwy and Stillwell Av during this time.

Q Line

Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Kings Hwy
Days, 9:45am-3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays through March 12; 9:45am-2pm on Fridays through March 13

Trains stop at Church Av and Newkirk Plaza.

For service to Parkside Av, Beverley, Cortelyou Rds, Avenue H, Avenue J and Avenue M, take the Q to Church Av, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Hwy and transfer to a Manhattan-bound B or Q.

For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Av or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.

Coney Island-bound Q trains run express from Prospect Park to Kings Hwy
Weekend, 11:15pm on Friday, February 20 to 5am on Monday, February 23

Trains stop at Church Av and Newkirk Plaza.

For service to Parkside Av, Beverley, Cortelyou Rds, Avenue H, Avenue J and Avenue M, take the Q to Church Av, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Hwy and transfer to a 57 St/7 Av-bound Q. For service from these stations, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Av or Prospect Park and transfer to a Coney Island-bound Q.
