An Express F & More Sheepshead Bay Subway Service Changes This Weekend

Below you’ll find weekend subway service changes for the B, Q, and F lines in Brooklyn. Check back Monday to see what’s happening next week. Changes via MTA.info.

F Line

F trains run every 20 minutes between Avenue X and Stillwell Av
Days, 10:30am-3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays through February 6

F service operates in two sections:
1. Between 179 St and Avenue X
2. Between Avenue X and Stillwell Av

Transfer at Avenue X to continue your trip.

Jamaica-bound F trains skip Avenue U
Days, 10:30am-3pm, Wednesdays to Fridays through February 6

For service to Avenue U, take the F to Kings Hwy and transfer to an Avenue X-bound F. For service from this station, take the F to Avenue X where it will become a Jamaica-bound F.

For service to/from Avenue U, take the B3 bus via transfer with the Q at Avenue U.

Jamaica-bound F trains run express from Neptune Av to Smith-9 Sts
Weekend, 11:45pm on Friday, January 23 to 5am on Monday, January 26

No Jamaica-bound service at Avenue X, Avenue U, Avenue P, Avenue N, Bay Pkwy, Avenue I, Ditmas Av, Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 15 St-Prospect Park and 4 Av-9 St.

For service to Avenue X, Avenue U, Avenue P, Avenue N, Bay Pkwy, Avenue I and Ditmas Av, take the F to Kings Hwy, 18 Av or Church Av and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F. For service from these stations, take the F to 18 Av, Kings Hwy or Neptune Av

For Fort Hamilton Pkwy, 15 St-Prospect Park and 4 Av-9 St, take the G instead. Transfer between trains at Church Av, 7 Av or Smith-9 Sts.
