Exclusive Sneak Peak Inside Milk & Honey
In case you can’t make it to tonight’s soft opening of Milk & Honey, the new cafe on the corner of Westminster and Newkirk, Max invited us inside this afternoon to check out the space and share some pics with you. The top photo only shows about half of the seating space inside — in addition to more tables, there’s also a long counter space with seating, as well.
The major makeover to the space not only changed the dining area, but included an incredible renovation to the basement, which has been turned into a full kitchen. The staff was cranking out cupcakes this afternoon, but Max says he’s looking forward to offering a large menu of savory dishes as well.
And yep, that’s a whole wall of live plants, including herbs, growing upright.
Stop by tonight from 6-10pm to see for yourselves. After tonight’s party, the space will be closed until they’re cleared by the city, and they hope to be open for good by next weekend, if not sooner.
