PS 217 Fundraiser
When: Saturday (4/9) at 8pm
Where: 773 Lounge at 773 Coney Island Avenue
What: Come on out and support PS 217 and arts education in our community — there will be live music by Boone, a 50/50 raffle, and 217 cool items for sale. The ticket price gets you one free drink.
How Much: $20. Ticket price is 100 percent tax deductible.

Cortelyou Library Friends Group Meeting
When: Saturday (4/9) at 9:30am
Where: Cortelyou Library, 1305 Cortelyou Road — meeting room in the back
What: We will be planning for our annual Butterflies, Bulbs, and Bookmarks party, as well as covering general issues. All are welcome to attend! We love to hear input and ideas from people in the community and, best of all, for you to get involved and join the Cortelyou Library Friends! What: Connecting to Music for Life: Music Story Time/Free Family Concert from 10 to 11am;
Rising Pre-K — 1st Grade Demo Group Guitar Lessons from 11am to noon;
Rising 2nd Grade — Adults Demo Private Guitar Lessons from noon to 2pm.
