PS 217 Garden Concert — Too Kool for Skool
When: Wednesday (6/1), at 6pm
Where: PS 217, 1100 Newkirk Avenue (and Westminster Road)
What: Too Kool for Skool — PS 217’s own “house band” presenting past and present rock and pop favorites. Sure to be a very lively concert which will be enjoyed by adults and kids of all ages.

Book launch party for Some Possible Solutions by local author Helen Phillips
When: Friday (6/3), at 7pm
Where: Book Court, 163 Court Street (Cobble Hill)
What: Local author Helen Phillips has just released a new short story collection, Some Possible Solutions. Phillips’ first novel, The Beautiful Bureaucrat, is now available in paperback.
How Much: FREE

Final screening of The VideoBlogs, a film made by Ditmas Park residents
When: Saturday (6/4), 5:30 to 7:30pm
Where: Videology Bar & Cinema – 308 Bedford Avenue (Williamsburg)
What: Created by Ditmas Park residents, and husband and wife indie film-making team, Michael DiBlasio and Rebecca De Ornelas, The Videoblogs follows the main character as her life takes a surprise turn when a troubled teenager finds her video journal. DiBlasio wrote and directed The Videoblogs; De Ornelas is its producer and lead actor. Masha King from Girls and Phoebe Allegra of Shadow Monster also star.
How Much: $12; second ticket is $10.50. Use the code DITMAS to get 20 percent off (no limit). All profits for this screening will go towards the mental health non-profit No Stigmas.

Victorian Flatbush House Tour
When: Sunday (6/5), 1 to 6pm
Where:  The tour begins at Temple Beth Emeth — 83 Marlborough Road (at Church Avenue). SUBWAY: Q train to Church Avenue or Beverley Road.
What: Developed more than 100 years ago to be a haven of suburban living just minutes from Manhattan, Victorian Flatbush maintains that special atmosphere today. Stroll the streets of this spectacular neighborhood, home to five NYC Historic Districts, and tour interiors of stunning homes, each lovingly preserved and restored. This special tour is self-guided so you get to go at your own pace. Walk the entire tour route, or hop on the convenient shuttle bus traveling the route. When you pick up your tickets, you’ll also receive a rich, detailed tour guidebook and map with descriptions of the homes on the tour and the neighborhood. You’ll learn the history of the houses, the agony of the various restorations and the satisfaction gained from preserving a piece of history a little bit at a time.

Victorian Flatbush is located south of Prospect Park, between Flatbush and Coney Island Avenues.
How Much: $30 in Advance; $35 day of tour. ADVANCE TICKET SALES END AT 3:00 PM, SATURDAY, JUNE 4TH. Please purchase tickets after that outside of Temple Beth Emeth. Tour is Rain or Shine! Tickets are non-refundable.
