Erasmus Wins PSAL Football Championship at Yankee Stadium

The Erasmus Hall Dutchmen beat the Tottenville Pirates 15-14 at Yankee Stadium to claim the PSAL Championship. You can check out the entire game here.

The Dutchmen won on a two point conversion from junior running back Curtis Samuel, routinely referred to as the team’s brightest star and “the greatest player” Erasmus coach Danny Landberg says he’s ever coached, reports the Daily News.

The Dutchmen’s undefeated 12-0 season earned the first top level PSAL championship in school history and the first football crown since the school won the ‘B’ championship in 1986 and 87.
