Brooklyn-Based Energy Companies Move HQ To Fancy Bath Beach Office Building
Columbia Utilities and PALMco Energy, family owned and operated energy supply companies, announced today the relocation of their corporate headquarters to the Bath Beach.
Columbia Utilities provides electricity and natural gas to customers in the state of New York and PALMco Energy services the states of Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
The new offices fill three floors of the building located at 8751 18th Avenue. The modern, 16,500 square foot space, which was build in 2008, will house the executive, marketing, sales, customer service, and operations staff of the two companies. The new space will replace their previous 6,500-square-foot headquarters near Borough Park.
“These bigger offices represent our growth as we continue to provide quality service to our customers,” said Robert Palmese, president of Columbia Utilities and PALMco Energy. “We are excited to move into this new location and mark the continuation of over 78 years of business.”
Columbia and PALMco have a longstanding commitment to the communities in which they serve. “Columbia Cares” and “PALMco Cares” initiatives established in 2013 allow customers to give back to their own communities just by paying their utility bill.
Being located in Brooklyn for 78 years, they have supported local childhood cancer organizations, military and veteran services, affordable housing, education, and more.
