The office building at 2701 Emmons Ave, which is where the Personal Touch Home Care medical center is, has been sold for $12 million, according to Commercial Observer.

Rubin Schron’s Cammeby’s International —the developer that bought up the properties at 532 Neptune Avenue and 626 Sheepshead Bay Road — and Brooklyn-based Renaissance Realty Group sold the property to an LLC called 2701 Emmons Avenue Project, which is operated by Elliot Meisenberg, according to Commercial Observer.

Meisenberg could not be reached for inquiries regarding his plans for the 40,000-square-foot property. Plans haven’t been filed with the Department of Buildings (DOB) yet.

It goes without saying that Sheepshead Bay has seen a serious increase in development. AvalonBay has been building a 30-story tower on Voorhies Avenue that has stirred controversy over its use of non-union labor. A seven-story luxury condominium building on Emmons Avnue recently put its units on the market.

On top of those developments, houses have been getting demolished left and right to make room for taller apartment buildings in a neighborhood that once had pride in its quaint lack of height.

Could this be another step in the road for Sheepshead Bay’s growth spurt?
