Elderly Woman Attacked and Robbed in Coney Island

This past Sunday night, January 29th, around 8:30pm, an elderly woman was shoved and robbed of her belongings inside a lobby of a residential building near West 33rd and Surf Avenue.

The unidentified attacker pushed her from behind causing her to slam her head into a wall, took her purse containing approximately $60 and credit cards.  The victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital with minor injuries.

Police are looking for the individual you can see in the image, described as a black man, last seen wearing a black hoody jacket, burgundy sweatpants and black and gray sneakers.
