Caribbean Restaurant Week NY is here and several local restaurants are on the menu for the seven-day celebration of Caribbean food and culture. While there are no participating eateries directly in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, there are a few just a short walk away on our borders with Prospect Heights and Bed-Stuy:

  • Sugarcane Restaurant (238 Flatbush Avenue, between Bergen Street and St. Marks Avenue)
    $20 lunch / $35 dinner
  • Milk River (960 Atlantic Avenue, between Washington and Grand Avenues)
15 percent off your bill; pre-fixe menu available
  • Kombit Bar and Restaurant (279 Flatbush Avenue, between Flatbush and Carlton Avenues)
    15 percent off your bill
  • Jamaica Grill (321 Nostrand Avenue, between Lexington Avenue and Quincy Street)
    15 percent off your bill

The event is sponsored by the West Indian American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA) and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. WIADCA will also be hosting other Caribbean-celebratory events throughout June in honor of National Caribbean-American Heritage Month.
