Don’t Forget to Order Thanksgiving Turkeys and Treats

Santa is nearing ubiquity on television these days and Thanksgiving is just a week away. Do you have your turkeys in a row?

If you missed out on last week’s opportunity to order a bird, the Flatbush Food Co-op on Cortelyou Road is taking pre-orders right now. R&R Meat Market on Cortelyou is also taking pre-orders.

Market has organic D’artagnan turkeys and is currently finalizing the rest of their Thanksgiving stock. Similarly, Mimi’s will offer sweets such as pumpkin pie and cookies but will not finalize the list until later today. Across the street, John’s Bakery is already offering pies, cakes and other treats for the holidays.

C-Towns and other supermarkets around the area are offering turkeys for pre-order as well.
