Donate Your Old Books For The Friends Of Cortelyou Library Book Sale

Book lovers mark your calendars, the Cortelyou Library Friends Annual Book Sale is approaching! The sale will be Saturday, November 7 from 11am-4pm in the plaza in front of the library at Cortelyou and Argyle roads.

But if you have any books you’d like to donate, you may drop them off at the library beginning on Saturday, October 31. Nearly all kinds of gently used books are welcome (although they do ask you to please refrain from donating out-of-date materials, like old computer software manuals, or anything that is damaged). They say children’s books are always especially popular.

There will also be a baked goods for sale during the fundraiser. So if any of you bakers out there would like to donate something sweet or would like to volunteer your time (either during the sale, or with setup before or clearing up afterwards), please email the Cortelyou Friends at cortelyoulibraryfriends@gmail.com.
