There’s certainly something to be said for keeping a large home library, but we could all use a little more space. Instead of letting piles of books gather dust into the next decade, gather those extras and donate them to a good cause.

If you already dropped off books for the Cortelyou Friends book sale but found you’ve got more to give, this Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, Brooklyn Public Library will be hosting the Great American Book Drive at the Central Library at Grand Army Plaza, a quick drive or subway ride away from our neighborhood.
