Donate Unwanted Goods To PS 124 Rummage Sale
Yes, we all woke up to more snow Wednesday, but spring is on the horizon, which means it’s time to start clearing out those closets, and we’ve got a great local way to get rid of your unwanted goodies.
The gang at PS 124 (4th Avenue, between 13th and 14th Streets) is joining forces with Wearable Collections and Lower East Side Ecology Center for a giant rummage sale/recycling event on Saturday, April 12, and starting this weekend, they’re accepting donations.
Drop off dates and times are:
Saturday, March 1, from 1pm to 3pm
Tuesday, March 11, from 8:30am to 11:30am
Saturday, March 22, from 10am to 12pm
Saturday, April 5, from 11am to 4pm
Donations can be dropped off at the school’s main entrance on 4th Avenue, and PS 124 tells us that most everything, from household items, clothing, toys (stuffed animals included), and electronics will be accepted. They do ask, though, that clothes for children and adults be separated, and tattered items for recycling be separated from items in good condition for sale.
