Donate Old Glasses To Grace Eye Care For People In Need In Haiti
Have you got an old pair of eyeglasses sitting in a drawer? Why not donate them to help people in need in Haiti? Dr. Widad Valme of Grace Eye Care has been collecting and sending donated glasses to Haiti for a while now, including a big push at last weekend’s Flatbush Frolic, but they could always use more.
You can drop them off at the shop (that was recently renovated, which you should take a peek at if you haven’t yet) at 1615 Cortelyou Road, between E 16th and E 17th Streets, during their regular hours: Tuesday-Friday, 11:30am-7pm, and Saturday, 9am-5pm.
