Donate Gifts & Kid Gear At A Holiday Toy Drive This Sunday

Whether you’ve got baby gear like car seats and strollers that the kids have outgrown, or you’ve generously picked up an extra toy while out shopping for the kids on your own list, you can help with the Friends of Greenwood Playground’s first holiday toy drive at Cynthia King Dance Studio, 1256 Prospect Ave between Greenwood Ave and Reeve Pl.

This Sunday, December 15 from 10am-3pm, they’ll be collecting new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls up to age 4, as well as gently used baby gear like pack ‘n’ plays, car seats, strollers, stroller buntings, and co-sleepers.

Donated gift and gear will be given to Little Essentials, a community-based organization that provides free baby and toddler items to Brooklyn families living in poverty. See a list of the kinds of donated items they can accept here.
