Donate To Councilman Jumaane Williams’ Toy Drive Through Monday, December 22

Councilman Jumaane Williams has kicked off his holiday toy drive – and neighbors can bring items for those less fortunate to his district office (4517 Avenue D) through Monday, December 22.

As the holidays rapidly approach, it is my hope our neighbors find it in their hearts to give a little more this year to those among us who are less fortunate. The holidays should be a joyous time for every boy and girl, but many among us are finding it harder to smile this year. We can make their season a little brighter by taking part in this year’s holiday toy drive. I look forward to this year’s drive bringing joy to countless children across our district.

The office is accepting unwrapped toys, which Williams stressed must not promote violence or guns. Donations are encouraged to be gender neutral.
