Donate Blood, Swap Clothes at PS 139
A blood drive is taking place at PS 139 on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the first flood auditorium. You can sign up here.
A clothing swap will take place on the same day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the same location. The swap is an annual event in which people bring gently used clothes and take what they can use.
PS 139 is also currently receiving donations for victims of Sandy. They have received many generous donations from the community. They cannot accept any more clothes prior to 11/17, but need diapers, wipes, formula, flashlights, batteries, candles, toiletries, cleaning supplies, face masks, rubber gloves, rakes and shovels for Sandy victims. They will be accepting donations 8am-10am tomorrow in the auditorium which can be accessed through the main entrance at 330 Rugby Road.
