Donate A Coat At Lowlands This Month, Get A Free Drink

If you picked up a new coat this winter and have been looking for a place to donate your old one, here’s a pretty great option — tipster Tom Fagan tells us that Lowlands Bar will be collecting coats in exchange for drinks all month long.

Stop by the bar at 543 3rd Avenue, near the corner of 14th Street, with your clean, gently-used coat, which they’re collecting for area charities and homeless shelters. Anyone who donates a coat will get a drink on the house. The coat drive will run through February.
