The Dominguez Flower Shop on Cortelyou Road has been closed for a few weeks, and it looks like that it may be for good. Attempted phone calls to the owners were unsuccessful, and a couple of neighbors reported hearing that the shop was planning to go out of business.

We’re rapidly losing our florists in the area, left now with the one on Foster near Westminster, and places that are not solely florists – like Sycamore and Superior Deli on Cortelyou. What’s your neighborhood florist of choice?
