This adorable dog was found at the Newkirk Plaza subway station Monday morning when an MTA employee spotted him wandering the station.

NYPD Transit District 34 took the dog to a nearby veterinarian to get checked out. The dog has no collar and no locator chip, so an officer in District 34 has taken the pup in.

If you are the owner, or if you know who is, contact NYPD Transit District 34 at (718) 714-8400.

In the meantime, we’ve been told the dog doesn’t have a name yet. We think “Newkirk Plaza” would be a great name. What are your suggestions?
