Cubanismo! at Celebrate Brooklyn
When: Friday, June 24 at 7:30pm
Where: Prospect Park Bandshell, entrance at 9th Street and Prospect Park West
What: Celebrate another summer friday night with Cubanismo, also featuring Ricardo Lemvo with L’Orchestre Afrisa International. Celebrate Brooklyn calls this show a “fiery night of Latin rhythms led by trumpeter Jesús Alémañy and his band ¡CUBANISMO!” That’s definitely enough to get us dancing all night long.

Midwood Mardi Gras Street Fair
When: Sunday, June 26 from 10am to 6pm
Where: Avenue M between East 13th Street and Ocean Avenue
What: Join the Midwood Development Corporation for the annual Midwood Mardi Gras street fair on Avenue M. Come out and enjoy the day with free face painting, rides, games, music, chess, and more. TRAFFIC NOTICE: Avenue M will be closed to cars 8am to 8pm on Sunday June 26. And there will be no street parking on Avenue M beginning Saturday night.

Annie, Abundantly! at The Kings Theater
When: Sunday, June 26 at 6pm
Where: The Kings Theater, 1027 Flatbush Avenue, between Tilden & Duryea Streets
What: Come see students and broadway performers reinvent the classic broadway musical Annie, with a creative ending that will be sure to inspire young women of all ages.

BBQ at Temple Beth Emeth
When: Sunday, June 26 from 2:30pm to 6pm
Where: 390 East 5th Street, between Beverley Road and Avenue C
