Ditmas Park Weekend Events
Got plans yet? The Church Avenue BID announces that their Sidewalk Sales are back this weekend, plus there’s a free concert by Os Mutantes in Prospect Park and music right here in the neighborhood, a free photography workshop, and the annual Flatbush Avenue Street Fair (don’t forget to note street closures and bus detours).
Saturday, June 29
• Shop Sidewalk Sales at Church Avenue businesses, 10am-6pm.
• The Lavender Blues Singalong is at Lark, 10-11am.
• Donation-based yoga at the Prospect Park Peristyle, 11am; kids-only class, 12pm. Cancelled due to rain.
• “Kiddie and Me” flower class with Stems at Lark, 11:30am; boozy DIY class, 1pm.
• Introduction to Birdwatching, Prospect Park Pop-Up Audubon, 12pm.
• Visit Sustainable Flatbush’s Healing Herb Garden, 10am-2pm (compost til 12pm).
• See Alex Levin and guests play jazz at Purple Yam, 12-2:30pm.
• Lefferts 2nd Fl Tours, Lefferts Historic House, 1-3:30pm (also Sun).
• Kids can learn about making cloth at the Lefferts Historic House, 2-4pm (also Sun).
