Ditmas Park Weekend Events
There’s a lot to do around town this weekend–from holiday events to book readings to meatballs, we encourage you stay off those shuttle buses and enjoy your time in Ditmas Park.
Saturday, March 15
• Check out local Saint Patrick’s Day events all weekend long.
• Purim events are still happening, too.
• The Lavender Blues sing along is at Lark, 10 and 11 am.
• Ready, Set, Kindergarten is at the Cortelyou Library, 11am.
• You can check out Introduction to Birdwatching, starting at the Audubon Center, 12-1pm on Saturdays until March 29.
• Alex Levin and guests play jazz at Purple Yam, 12:30-2:30pm.
• The Cortelyou Jazz Jam is a day early at Bar Chord, 9pm.
• The Jukebox Romeo spins at Sycamore, 10pm.
Sunday, March 16
• Meditate for free at at Jaya Yoga East, 8:30am.
• Play and sing at Toddler Time with Mary Jo, Lark, 10am.
• Bill’s Balls is at the Flatbush Food Court this week, Sycamore, 12-6pm.
• Sara Barron, Annie Choi, Saul Austerlitz, Jennifer Keishin Armstrong, and guest host Mary Phillips-Sandy are at this month’s Lit at Lark, 5pm.
• Join the Ditmas Park Sitting Group to meditate at Third Root, 6:45pm.
