Ditmas Park Rental Roundup

Looking for an apartment to rent in or around Ditmas Park? We’ve rounded up a few spaces available in the neighborhood to help you on your hunt. If you live in one of the apartment buildings, let prospective neighbors know how you like it.

Pet Friendly One Bed on Tennis Court
Available: Immediately
Price: $1,250, plus broker’s fee
Details: The bedroom in this unit doesn’t look huge even if the listing says it can hold a king bed, but the living area either is huge or was shot from a very flattering angle. The windows look to let in some nice light, the kitchen has more counter space and cabinets than similarly priced units, and small pets are welcome, plus you’ll be close to Prospect Park and the B/Q at Church.

Ocean Parkway One Bed
Available: Immediately
Price: $1,345, plus broker’s fee
Details: There’s no photo in this listing, but apparently you can look forward to sun, hardwoods, an eat in kitchen, and a laundry room. Plus, know how the average for an area one bedroom at this point? According to Apartable, anywhere from $1,787 to $1,946. Might be wise to jump on this one sooner than later.

Dorchester Road Two Bedroom
Available: Immediately
Price: $1,900, plus broker’s fee
Details: Evidently, this unit is so unimportant to Highline Residential, they haven’t even listed it with a particular agent or added any description–but at least there are some photos from another unit in the same building, right? Whatever the case may be, this was the only two bed we spotted in an hour of searching this week under $2,000–so get in touch, and they’ll never have to bother doing any of that silly stuff.

Sparkly New PPS Two Bed
Available: Immediately
Price: $2,195, plus broker’s fee
Details: This price is pretty insane–or is it? Again, it’s one of the lowest priced places in its category that we found this week, and again, if you look at Apartable, it falls nearly $400 short of Flatbush area averages. The building welcomes pets and has laundry facilities, and the unit itself looks reasonably spacious and bright. It certainly has a lot of shiny new touches, including, says the ad, an appliance called a “sleek.” Finally–we’ve been wanting an in-unit sleek for the longest!
