Ditmas Park Has Verizon FiOS, Are You Making The Switch?
Neighbors have been spotting a fleet of Verizon trucks around the neighborhood, seeing their workers around the area and their markings on the street. Remember that Verizon construction on Cortelyou Road in September?
It all adds up to one thing: Verizon FiOS has come to Ditmas Park. In fact, the service has been available around the neighborhood in select areas for several months. Residences from Prospect Park to Avenue J can order high speed internet although most, if not all, can only install DirecTV.
You can check the availability of FiOS at your address here.

However, there’s no doubt about it: there’s a demand for FiOS around here. We’ve been getting excited emails and seeing comments about the service for a long time. Now that it’s here, will you be making the switch?
We’ve reached out to Verizon for more specifics about the services they’re offering here and their plans for the future. We’ll update as soon as they get back to us.
