Woman Found Dead, Handcuffed In Ditmas Park Apartment
DITMAS PARK – A woman was found dead in her Ditmas Park apartment yesterday afternoon in a horrifying scene, police confirmed.
NYPD officers responded to a 911 call of an unconscious woman inside 635 East 21st Street around 3:15 pm on Sunday, March 18th. Arriving at the scene, officers found 34-year old Ketsia Zephir unresponsive on the floor of her apartment, with her hands handcuffed behind her back and a plastic bag over her head, police said. There was no apparent sign of a struggle in the apartment.
Responding EMS arrived and pronounced Zephir dead at the scene. An investigation is ongoing and the Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death. At this time, there are no arrests.
