Ditmas Fitness Expanding With A New Yoga Studio On CIA

Awesome news for Ditmas’ ripped-est: Ditmas Fitness owner Juan Spencer is in the process of opening a new studio for yoga, pilates, dance, and Zumba devotees to stay in shape in a community environment. DF Studios (opening in the former It’s A Dog’s World space at 593 Coney Island Ave.) will feature a comfy seating area, wood floors, and a serene backyard space like the original Ditmas Fitness. Juan is also interested in the possibility of putting up art installations inside the space, and eventually having a smoothie and panini bar.

Juan says he got the idea from patrons asking for classes, and hopes to make DF Studios an extension of Ditmas Fitness by maintaining a similar aesthetic and friendly vibe, while treating guests to a soothing environment for their preferred exercise method.
