Dine Out On October 24 To Help Neighbors In Need

On Thursday, October 24, when you eat at one of several participating restaurants, you will be helping neighbors in need. Feed the Need: Dine Out for Bread and Life will benefit St. John’s Bread and Life, which serves more than 1,000,000 meals annually to Brooklyn and Queens residents with its soup kitchen and emergency pantry in Bed-Stuy and from its mobile soup kitchen.

Stop in for a bite to eat at one of the participating restaurants in our area: Four & Twenty Blackbirds, 439 3rd Avenue; Santa Fe Grill, 62 7th Avenue; and Root Hill Cafe, 262 4th Avenue. See the full list of restaurants here, all of which will donate 10% of that day’s proceeds to Bread and Life.

If your restaurant would like to participate, contact Joanwargo1@gmail.com for more information.

And if you’d like to volunteer with or make a donation to Bread and Life, find more info here.
