Dime Savings Bank Robber Caught

Police have captured the man who robbed the Marine Park branch of The Dime Savings Bank of Williamsburgh (yes, that’s Williamsburg with an H) at 2172 Coyle St (between Ave U & Ave V) on November 8, 2008.

The NYPD Crimestoppers website states that

The suspect entered the location, approached a teller and demanded cash. He then fled the location on foot with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency. The suspect is described as a M/B/20’s, 6’0″, 185 lbs.

According to the Bay News, the suspect was seen fleeing into the Sheepshead/Nostrand Housing complex with entrances near Coyle St and Ave V.
