Di Fara’s Pizza Shut Down For Non-Payment Of Taxes
MIDWOOD – Only death and taxes …
Looks like the taxman caught up. DiFara’s pizzeria on Ave J was shut down today by the New York State Tax Department for failure to pay taxes.
DOW JONES: “Di Fara, the beloved pizzeria in Brooklyn’s Midwood neighborhood, was shut down Tuesday by New York state for failure to pay taxes.
“The state’s department of taxation and finance said the pizzeria owes $167,506.75.”
