Di Fara Pizza Featured In The New York Pizza Project

We love a good slice of New York pizza, so we were pretty excited to hear about The New York Pizza Project. which is a book full of photos and interviews about New York’s best pizzerias.

The project has been five years in the making and was funded through a Kickstarter last year. The five guys behind the the Pizza Project are photographers and designers who grew up in New York and love their pizza.

The book highlights the “pizza makers,” the people behind the city’s beloved slices, the “pizza eaters,” the regulars who make the pizzerias what they are, and the shops themselves, the “neon signs, orange booths, mirrors, and grease.”

Di Fara Pizza, 1424 Avenue J, makes the cut. The book features both Dom and his daughter, Maggie.
