Deputy Inspector Michael Deddo will be leaving his post as the 66th Precinct’s commanding officer today or early next week, police told us this morning.

Deddo, who has held the reigns at the 66th Precinct for about three years, is being transferred to the NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau, police said.

Captain Kenneth Quick, who has been working in the Patrol Borough Brooklyn South’s Specialized Units, will take over as the 66th Precinct’s commanding officer, according to the NYPD.

If you’d like to meet the new commanding officer, he will be at the 66th Precinct Community Council’s next meeting on Thursday, March 19, at 7:30pm. The meeting will be held at Friends Field, located at Avenue L and E. 4th Street. If you have further questions, you can call the NYPD’s Community Affairs department at 718-851-5601.
