Daytime Shooting on Church Ave

We’re hearing reports of a shooting that happened on Church Avenue near East 18th Street at about 1:30pm today.

According to Eyewitness News, the victim was a 59-year-old man who was shot in the leg in front of a bodega, and he appears to have non-life-threatening injuries. They say the suspect is still on the loose, possibly wearing an orange jacket.
