The Day: Thanksgiving for Seniors, a Basketball Win and Media Training

Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

Winter coats might need to be shelved in exchange for rainwear for the next two days, according to the National Weather Service. There’s a 60 percent chance of rain today and tomorrow there’s nearly a 100 percent chance, with temperatures hitting the low 60s. It’s a tradeoff — warmer weather, but wetter skies.

  • The Fort Greene Grant Square Neighborhood Center will host a Thanksgiving dinner for seniors today. It’s an early bird special — come to the center at 19 Rogers Avenue between noon and 1 p.m. to get your heaping helping.
