Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

After surviving Monday afternoon’s gusty rainfall, we’re expecting more storms to end week, according to the National Weather Service. But until then it’s all clear skies and temperatures in the high 60s.

  • Are you a bibliophile with a penchant for cooking? Check out Greenlight Bookstore’s inaugural meeting of the Cookbook Club at 7:30 p.m. tonight. Led by foodie and local resident Grant Bremer, the first meeting will discuss and sample recipes from Rohan Anderson’s “Whole Larder Love”. Future meetings will revolve around ingredients available in the neighborhood and simple recipes. The club meets at the bookstore at 686 Fulton Street every second Tuesday of every three months.   • The Resident Association of Lafayette Gardens Houses will hold its general meeting tonight, according to the association’s event page on Facebook. This month’s meeting will address the Affordable Care Act, the Gardens’ current parking situation and a new foster care program in the building. To stay informed, meet in the community room at 7 p.m. at 442 DeKalb Avenue.
  • Haven’t gotten your feedback fix? The Fulton Area Businesses (FAB) Alliance wants to hear your ideas about the plans for the Fowler Square Redesign on Saturday, Oct. 19. FAB’s Second Public Workshop is a chance for the design team to present its plans and for community members’ to air their thoughts about the permanent plaza at Fulton Street and Lafayette Avenue. The event lasts from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a formal design presentation at noon.
