Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

Temperatures will climb just above freezing today, with a 90 percent chance of snow. We’re finally in the throes of winter, according to the National Weather Service, and temperatures will stay below freezing for the rest of the week. If you can brave the cold, Community Board 2 holds it’s last general meeting of the year tomorrow night at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the YWCA on Third Avenue. The agenda includes a presentation from the Land Use Committee, which voted to approve a proposal from The Landmarks Preservation Committee to make the 88th Precinct’s building a historic landmark.

  • In attempts to corral the nabe’s holiday spirit, BRIC House will host a group sing-a-long tonight as part of its Stoop Series. The theme is songs of home; think Simon & Garfunkel’s “Homeward Bound” or John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” Crooning, on-key or otherwise, begins at 7 p.m. at 647 Fulton Street.
  • Tere O’Connor’s dance piece, “BLEED,” premieres tonight as part of the 2013 Next Wave Dance Festival at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The piece merges three previous projects into one, a process which O’Connor, along with performance scholar and writer Jenn Joy, blogged about. The show begins at 7:30 p.m., and all tickets cost $20. “BLEED” runs at BAM through Dec. 14.
