Good morning, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

We hope you enjoyed the spring weather this weekend. Today brings a chance of rain this evening, according to the National Weather Service, so remember to take your umbrella when you’re out in the neighborhood. As always, if you’re snapping pictures while you’re out, remember to share your photos in the Nabe’s Flickr group.

Here’s some local news to start your week:

  • Three Clinton Hill locals were injured in a fire on the second floor of a building on Saturday morning, reported NY1. One person was hurt after jumping out of a window. The New York City Fire Department did not have information at the time on how the fire was started.
Community Board 2 will hold its general meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the Pfizer Auditorium in the Dibner Building at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, 5 Metrotech Center. Presentations will include an update on development at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and the Historic Districts Council’s look ahead to its Six to Celebrate program.
