Put your dancing shoes on and join Spoke the Hub’s Local Produce Festival of the Performing Arts, a community-based, cultural “green market” featuring the diversity, creativity, and vitality of Brooklyn’s own performing artists-in-residence of all ages. Dancing and performances take place on Saturday, June 6 from 10am-6pm on Union Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.

The free event includes workshops for the whole family, as well as music and dance performances from a wide range of artists. Family workshops include Tai Chi, Zumba, and a drum circle. Performances, which take place under the Big Top, include Art Lillard’s Heavenly Big Band, the Young Artists Spring Bouquet, and the World Music & Dance Bouquet. You can view the full schedule here.

Steve and Dana’s Karaoke Hut, soccer, a chalk street drawing contest, and more will also be going on throughout the day.

So party down with some of the most talented global neighbors from around the world who now call Brooklyn home, and join Spoke the Hub for another delightful day of culture, community, and outdoor fun in the sun!
