The D Goes N, F Goes Express, And Other Transit Changes This Weekend

Below you’ll find Bensonhurst subway changes over the weekend on the D, F, N and R lines in Brooklyn. Check back here Monday to see what’s happening next week.

D Line

Norwood-bound D trains run via the N line from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street.

Weekend, 3:45am Saturday to 10pm Sunday, August 22-23.

No Norwood-bound service at Bay 50th Street, 25th Avenue, Bay Parkway, 20th Avenue, 18th Avenue, 79th Street, 71st Street, 55th Street, 50th Street, Fort Hamilton Parkway and 9th Avenue.

Travel Alternatives

For service to Bay 50th Street, 25th Avenue, Bay Parkway, 20th Avenue, 18th Avenue, 79th Street, and 71st Street, take the D to New Utrecht Avenue-62nd Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.

For service to 55th Street, 50th Street, Fort Hamilton Parkway and 9th Avenue, take the D to 36th Street and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D.

For service from these stations, take the D to 62nd Street-New Utrecht Avenue or Stillwell Avenue and
transfer to a Norwood-bound D.

F Line

Jamaica-bound F trains run express from Neptune Avenue to Smith-9th Street.

Weekends, 11:45pm, Friday, to 5am, Monday, August 21-24.

No Jamaica-bound service at Avenue X, Avenue U, Avenue P, Avenue N, Bay Parkway, Avenue I,
Ditmas Avenue, Fort Hamilton Parkway, 15th Street-Prospect Park and 4th Avenue-9th Street.

Travel Alternatives

For service to Avenue X, Avenue U, Avenue P, Avenue N, Bay Parkway, Avenue I or Ditmas Avenue, take the F to Kings Highway, 18th Avenue or Church Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For service from these stations, take the F to 18th Avenue, Kings Highway or Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

For Fort Hamilton Parkway, 15th Street-Prospect Park and 4th Avenue-9th Street, take the G instead. Transfer between trains at Church Avenue, 7th Avenue or Smith-9 Street.

Avenue X and Ditmas Avenue F Train Station Closures and Information.

The Manhattan-bound platform at Avenue X is closed for renovation until winter 2015/16.

The Manhattan-bound platform at Ditmas Avenue is closed for renovation until fall 2015.

For service to this station, take the F to Avenue U and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For service from this station, take the F to Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

For service to this station, take the F to Church Avenue and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For service from this station, take the F to 18th Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

N Line

Astoria-bound N trains stop at 53rd Street and 45th Street.

Weekend, 12:01am Saturday to 5am Monday, August 22-24.

R Line

36th Street-bound R shuttle trains stop at 53rd Street and 45th Street.

Late nights, 12:01am, Saturday to 5am, Monday, until August 31.

Please allow additional travel time.
