Cyclist In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Taxi In East Flatbush

EAST FLATBUSH – A 35-year-old bicyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a taxi at the intersection of Utica Avenue and Empire Boulevard this morning.

The FDNY say they responded to a call just after 7am this morning regarding a man being hit by a taxi.

The taxi driver stayed on the scene, the police say, and the victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where his condition is serious.

The investigation is ongoing.
