Curry Place Closes Temporarily For Repairs Caused By Fire Damage
Four months after opening to gushing reviews, Curry Place has “temporarily closed” and obtained a work permit for “general construction [for] interior renovation (partial) of the existing store damaged by fire.”
The permit also allows for replacement of a joist and the first floor ceiling. Work is authorized as of last Friday, June 26, through August 16, so it looks like they may be out of commission for a while.
Fans may have noticed that the site’s online delivery option disappeared from Seamless a couple of weeks ago, but the good news is that according to the sign, they “will be open soon,” so here’s hoping.
No one answered the store’s phone, which is unsurprising since it’s closed. The food is pretty fantastic, so hopefully they’ll be back up and running again soon.
