Crook Steals Credit Cards And Purchases $300 In MetroCards
Police are searching for the man in the above photo in connection to a robbery that occurred during the evening rush hour at the Jay Street A/C/F subway station in Downtown Brooklyn.
A woman’s wallet was pinched from her purse on Monday, March 13, at approximately 5:30pm inside Jay Street station. The victim’s purse was attached to her baby stroller at the time of the incident, police say.
Among the items inside the victim’s wallet were credit cards that were used later that day at Manhattan’s Fulton Street station to purchase more than $300 worth of MTA MetroCards, the police report.
The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, 6’2″ tall. He was last seen wearing glasses, a black and white knit cap, a dark coat, dark colored sweater, and gray pants.
